A History of Quality and Growth

1988-1989

Jefferson Industries Begins Construction

It all began with a grassy field in 1988 and the aspirations of President Tsugio Kikuchi. “We have had a dream, for a long time, to conduct business with the world’s largest industrial nation, America.” Within 12 months of inauguration, Jefferson Industries Corporation established itself with a 200,000 sq. ft. manufacturing plant and the original operation put more than 220 local individuals to work. The hard work of these founding employees, along with this great move to the United States, allowed us to establish an amazing foundation for future domestic success.

1990-1999

A Decade of Excellence & Expansion

Throughout the first 10 years of operation, we established a reputation of excellence locally, nationally and internationally. Our growth was undeniable as we made a great impact on the automotive parts market. JIC continued to set the bar for others, while exceeding established industry standards.

2000-2013

New Millennium, New Opportunities

JIC hit the ground running when the 21st Century rolled around. We continued our sharp upward trend of growth and success, but we also furthered our community involvement, became more invested in local markets and established stronger camaraderie among our team members by embracing culture and providing great incentives for employees to get involved with individual and group philanthropic endeavors.

2014 - Today

Continued Growth & Perfection of Service

In 2014, G-NAC joined the J-Group family with a 183,000 sq. ft. facility that was completely dedicated to manufacturing hot-stamped parts, which not only added new capabilities to the organization, but also made internal efficiency exponentially greater. As Jefferson Industries Corporation moves forward, we continue to perfect our processes, adhere to the values that have brought us great success throughout our storied history and look for new areas of expansion, growth and prosperity.
